Manzanar, In-Place in Carrasco Montevideo

Manzanar is the restaurant that the Barbero family inaugurated in Carrasco, at the request of Jimena and Victoria, daughters of one of the famous “La Huella” owners Gustavo. The sisters are accountants – just like the father – and they had the illusion of leaving the accounting world and open a restaurant in Montevideo together. The place has been going strong since they opened their doors and has become an in-place to see and be seen.

Of the culinary proposal of this gastronomic space two elements stand out: the kitchen of fresh products with an emphasis on artisanal fishing (tiraditos, cebiche, rack of grilled corvina, tartar de pescadillla), and the pastry, which surpasses, as It happens in La Huella, the usual average consumption of desserts in restaurants.
