Restored Historic Estancia near Agroland

Terranostra consists of just over 19 hectares and is a restored historic estancia near Agroland and in the area of Garzon. The land is incredibly beautiful, surrounded by rolling hills, rocks and green pastures. Terranostra was a former cattle ranch and historic Almacen. Presently it is not used for livestock. Instead it is a park where many native animals and birds live in peaceful harmony. The land is groomed with walking trails, benches and many tranquil spots for rest and contemplation. For the original almacén (store), the owner has the original hand-written accounting books and inventory documents relating to the commercial activity of this historical site, built in the year that Uruguay became recognized as an independent country!
