ZIEL building in Villa Biarritz

Located in front of Villa Biarritz Park and one block from the promenade, ZIEL is a development unlike anything seen so far in our city. It’s enough to say that it is the first project by MVRDV in South America to start appreciating its unique signature. MVRDV, originating in the Netherlands, is one of the top architecture firms in the world, with offices in Rotterdam, Berlin, Paris, New York, and Shanghai, where more than 300 architects, designers, and urban planners collaborate on multidisciplinary design. They are global leaders in contemporary architecture, cutting-edge urban design, and project development that promotes sustainability and innovation in the built environment. From this creative hub, the design of ZIEL features a large opening in the center of the building and four gardens distributed across different floors, creating a symbiosis of vegetation and natural light between the park and the tower. With four underground levels and 14 residential units, ZIEL will offer a relaxed and healthy lifestyle in Montevideo. It will have a total of 40 units, with 3- and 4-bedroom units, ranging in area from 151 m2 to 331 m2, and all will include a barbecue area. In addition to its gardens, the amenities list includes indoor and outdoor heated pools, a gym, sauna, clubhouse, and lounge area with a fire pit. Typology 02 (4 bedrooms) Units 02 of ZIEL are 3- and 4-bedroom units.
The 4-bedroom units have a total area between 299 m2 and 331 m2 and consist of two suites, a bathroom for the other two bedrooms, and a toilet. The main suite features a walk-in closet and faces the park, as do the living-dining area and the defined kitchen, which are part of this typology (see attached plans alongside the photos).
Available units: – Unit 1002 – Total area: 299 m2 – Price: US$1,749,700 Living-dining area with a 20m2 balcony, defined kitchen, and main suite facing the park. The second suite and the remaining two bedrooms face Benito Blanco. – Unit 1302 – Total area: 331 m2 – Price: US$1,985,800. It has the same layout as unit 1002, but with a 37 m2 corner terrace that, in addition to the living area, also covers the three bedrooms facing Benito Blanco. Garages are not included in the price and are available starting at US$45,000. The project is currently under construction, with completion projected for June 2027.
